A Message from our President
Welcome to the Sensational Sigma Omicron Zeta Chapter. I am Tyona Lyons, the president of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Sigma Omicron Zeta Chapter in Gwinnett County, Georgia. On behalf of the members of Sigma Omicron Zeta, I welcome you to our digital home. Our website can teach you more about our history and our commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

Scholarship
We are a chapter of highly educated women who understand the importance of education. Our Pearls of Excellence Foundation's Scholarship is awarded annually to young women in their senior year of high school who reside in Gwinnett County. Our goal is to ensure that higher education is a priority for young women within our community.

Service
For over 20 years, Sigma Omicron Zeta has provided exemplary service to Gwinnett County. Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE) is our international service program under which we enhance the lives of others in our local communities. Some of our programs include Elder Care, Adopt-A-School, Prematurity Awareness, Stork's Nest, International Women of Color, Domestic Violence Initiative, and Autism Awareness, along with many more.

Sisterhood
We are proud to be an intergenerational chapter with a strong sisterhood and commitment to the community. Through our Youth Groups, we develop and mentor young girls by enhancing their leadership, social, and academic skills. Our Pearlette Club is for girls ages 4-8, our Amicette Club is for girls ages 9-13 and our Archonette Club is for girls 14-18.
Finer Womanhood
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has been true to the principle of Finer Womanhood for over a century. Sigma Omicron Zeta is a chapter of women with many gifts and talents who are always looking for ways to serve our organization and the community in excellence. We have a zeal to continue the work of our Five Founders and always seek to represent them well.
